Make a Splash at Our Family Campground in Garrettsville, OH

When it is time to get away from your daily life, come visit Kool Lake. Our family campground in Garrettsville, OH, makes camping cool enough for penguins and fun for people of all ages.

We are located in the scenic Ohio Valley/Geauga Lakes Region amidst lush woods and meadows. On our property, we have three refreshing, spring-fed lakes that are perfect for keeping “kool.” Whether you visit us for a day, week, month, or season, you will find that Kool Lakes is a total camper’s delight. Fly, drive, or waddle your way to our family campground for your next adventure—we will be waiting!

Our pristine 1.5-acre swimming lake is the perfect place to play on the water and catch a few rays on the sandy beach. Swimming is free for campers, and non-campers can also swim for a low daily rate.

In addition to our swimming lake, we also have a well-stocked 1.75-acre fishing lake and a smaller fishing lake. Camping anglers may bring their tackle and fish from the dock or a boat to start reeling them in. Paddleboats, rowboats, and canoes are available for rent.

Near the water fun, you will also find other amenities like our covered pavilion (perfect for large group gatherings) and sand volleyball courts. Elsewhere on our family campground, we have three playgrounds, a baseball field, supply and snack shops, a Clubhouse, and more. Plus, every weekend of the summer season, we host fun events people of all ages can enjoy.

Our summer season is from May 1 to October 15. Some sites are available for winter camping; ask us for details.
